Oh my goodness..this cant even be called a hotel...It was worse than the squat out of the film just married! Im 17 and it was my first holiday without my parents. As a group of 3 girls we felt very unsafe in this hotel. We first arrived and just laughed when we saw the room ad it was just horrific..It then wasnt so funny. We were put on the seventh floor and the room was horrible.
THERE WASNT ANY FIRE ESCAPE! If there was a fire we wouldnt of survived. The notice on the door read "IN CASE OF A FIRE, IF THE STAIRS ARE BLOCKED...SHOUT OUT THE WINDOW FOR HELP" We had to go downstairs on the first night as our light wasnt working. As we were walking down the 7 flights of stairs (as the lift was to risky) we felt uneasy. at half two in the morning there was no lights on the stairs (no one told us that they were near the lifts) a shoe was holding open one of the guest doors and this scared us slightly as 3 men where in the room..:S The man at reception can up to help us with our light and he made it obvious not to shut our door..this also worried us as we felt very vunrable. Before getting into bed we moved our suitcases against our door as well as moving the beds down and level against the suitcases. This made us feel slightly safer but we were awake all night from the noises from the stairs and the other room, where the guest next door was in and out of the room all night. we didnt eat in the hotel as it was to discusting and dirty. The bathroom was horrible. We didnt shower in three days as it was so discusting..we were cleaner not to shower than wash in the filth of that bathroom. The plug socket in our room was half off the wall. We bought our own travel plug and when we put our charger in it wouldnt work as the connection was off the wall. The fire alarms were hanging off the wall and the smoke dectectors had wires hanging out of them so they wouldnt work. We had one pillow between three and the sheets had burn holes through them. It was just a horrible experience. NEVER GO HERE! IT SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN! SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE SO NO ONE HAS TO GO THROUGH THIS EXPERIENCE.
