My wife and I along with our 2 teenagers stayed at the Opera Cadet for 3 nights the first week of June '08. We paid $300 for a quad room that was set up thru a travel agent as part of a package. The room was very small, as are most rooms in Europe, but was adequate considering we were not in the room most of the time. The room consisted of one double bed along with two singles. The breakfast included your standard European fare such as breads, hard boiled eggs, cereal, yogurt,
juices, and coffee. The location was on a narrow street with many shops including patisseries, small grocery stores, and restaurants. The Cadet subway stop was conveniently located across the street. The front desk was helpful for the most part when asked for information. Internet access was available in the lobby for 10 Euros an hour, but we found an Internet Cafe for 4 Euros an hour. The only negative was the dirty carpet outside the room needed cleaning and the hallways smelled musty. I
would consider staying at the Opera Cadet again.
