We used Marriot points to stay for two nights and liked it so much we cancelled our reservation in another Marriott and stayed for a third night at a very reasonable price, including breakfast.

Everything about this hotel was great and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Paris. As other reviewers have noted, it is off the "touristy" beat and has great walking areas, is near wonderful Latin Quarter restaurants and is within a short walk of two Metro stops. It is Paris, so why not walk, and it is an easy walk to Notre Dame past the Latin Quarter, Pantheon and Sorbonne. We had a great view from our 15th floor window. It was our 30th anniversary and a bottle of champagne and a chocolate Eiffel Tower appeared in our room.

The staff at this hotel should be commended by Marriott. All of them are polite, helpful, good humoured and often interesting people who are willing to talk. The hotel has an excellent business centre with helpful staff. The breakfast express is a good idea although the full breakfast we had on the weekend was no more expensive than the express downstairs.

We did have a car and this one of the few hotels in France we visited that has a convenient place to leave the car when you check in. We were instantly met, welcomed, and the car was whisked away. When we checked out, the car appeared almost immediately. Great service.

Breakfast is outstanding as others have noted, and there is no reason to eat dinner in the hotel unless you are too tired to go out. The meals are OK but expensive compared with the surrounding neighbourhood. Rue Mouffetard, an old Roman road now filled with interesting shops and markets is a short walk away. Try charming restaurants such as La Cave Bourgogne and the Volcan (among others I'm sure) for excellent food at very reasonable prices.

Next time we are in Paris, this is where we will stay.

Arrrived on Saturday, to wait on line more than a half hour just to check in. No one even acknowledges that there was a line or made an effort to open another line. The room was very small with a view of a roof and a industrial sight. I am a Marriott elite member which made no difference to anyone. There was no mini bar or water avilable to purchase in the room.

This wonderful hotel was the first night included accommodation of our Insight Vacations 'Country Roads of France' tour.

The hotel was a 25min bus tour ride from Charles de Gaulle Airport. It is a beautiful modern hotel - extremely comfortable feather beds, nicely decorated rooms with a desk and comfy armchair - and a great view from the 10th floor!!! During the day our room looked out all the way across the city to Sacre Coure and at night - the lights of the city of Paris wonderful!

The rooms are spacious, as are the marble tiled bathrooms. Everything in our hotel was in working order, clean and very quiet at night.

We had an 'included' buffet breakfast - with plenty of fresh fruit, yummy yoghurts and freshly baked french pastries, cereals, cold meats as well as cooked selection of eggs, bacon, etc.

The metro station is located across the road from the hotel (you cannot hear the traffic from inside the hotel) which is very handy.

However we made the most of a beautiful summer's day and simply walked into the centre of Paris to Notre Dame and surrounds, had dinner at a great restaurant nearby before walking back in the evening!

The following morning we were up at 6.00 am and went for a morning walk. (If you turn left as you exit the front doors of the hotel and then left at the top of the street you will find yourself surrounded by residential apartment blocks and housing - which was a nice walk early in the morning weaving in and out of residential streets in the middle of Paris!

For those who are looking for a shopping hit - there are plenty of shopping stops in the nearby streets.

Restaurants and bistros and cafes are also all within walking distance.

We cannot fault this hotel and when back in Paris we will stay here again!

Nice beds, nice sized rooms. Top-notch concierge. The hotel is right next to the metro and located in a very "local" area. This means that there are not too many tourists and a visitor can really get a more authentic feel of Paris. The gym is really good, but the restaurant is expensive. Overall, I highly recommend . While not located by an monument, it is just metro rides away.

We stayed for 3 nights in September in the Champagne Suite. The room, hotel, and executive lounge were lovely. Since our room was a suite, it was quite spacious with 2 bathrooms, a bedroom and a living room. While the bedroom and living/sitting area are separate, they do not have a door in between these rooms. They put free water and soda beverages in our fridge, and encouraged us to call room service for free replacements as needed. There is also ample coffee and tea supplies with an electric kettle.

We had breakfast each day at the executive lounge. They have breads, cereals, meats, cheeses, and juice and coffee. Soft drinks, snacks, and beer are available all day from 6:00 to midnight. They also have weekday appetizers and desserts from 5:30-7:30. They serve wine in addition to hot and cold appetizers. We found it very convenient to stop in each night for a break.

The location is not near any major sites, but as other reviewers mention, the metro is 2 blocks away in both directions. The staff at the front desk was wonderful and the staff in the Executive Lounge really goes over the top. I would highly recommend this location and would certainly stay again.
