My husband and I had the pleasure of dining at Bistronomes during our most recent trip to Paris. We had originally hoped to dine at Fish or Frenchies based on reviews and what we have heard from friends. Unable to get a reservation at year of these restaurants, we decided to give Bistronomes a go. After three attempts at securing a table be were able to get a reservation through the website. Our inquiry to the website was answered
immediately, a rarity when trying to book a table at one of the better restaurants in Paris.
Bistronomes is a small, 27 seats, contemporary restaurant on a quiet street near the Louvre. They offer a small menu but most definitely something for everyone. Our party of six had everything from the razor clams from Brittany, sea bream, sweetbreads, and the most outstanding beef with bone marrow. Service was unhurried. pleasant and individual. The owners are the servers and they clearly want their clients to have a great dining experience. So if you're looking for a beautiful meal and a nice atmosphere with exceptional service give this restaurant to try. You will not be disappointed.
