Like title said..this is a 2 star hotel but I was surprised when I stay one night on 19Nov for business( meeting area nearby Vendome)
Good location, along Saint Honore street next to a church..front desk lady is polite and nice and able to let me check-in at 10am.my single room is big, clean n neat..wifi strong, shower area hot water is hot, mini fridge working, quiet n bed is comfortable..
Only thing to worry is the staircase..a bit steer and if you have lot of baggage or baby stroller it will be kind of stress to move up n down.
Overall for a 2 star this is far better than lor of 3 or even 4 stars hotel I have stay in Europe.

It was advertised as two stars so my expectations weren't high. However I was pleasantly surprised I stayed here with my two daughters and it was perfect for us clean the bathroom was brand new and the rooms comfy. I loved the view out the window and the breakfast was good I thought. It felt authentic to me and my girls loved it. We felt like Parisians for a day. It was a bit of a bugger to find though.

My husband and I stayed in this hotel at the end of our honeymoon in France. There were a couple redeeming things about it:
*fairly low price
*very good location
*mini fridge in the room
*polite staff
For just about everything else I would say this hotel is pretty terrible.

We were located on the top floor (5) at the very end of the hallway. The elevator was inconveniently located between floors, so you still have to walk up a couple flights of stairs with our luggage from the front door to the "lobby" and then to the elevator and then to your floor.

Our room was very small. We could barely get ourselves and our modest-sized luggage into the room all at the same time without completely filling the open floor space. The ceiling was also slanted and low on one side, so it made the room seem even smaller. The bathroom was tiny (especially the sink--think "tiniest IKEA sink you could ever buy"), the toilet was so close to the wall I couldn't sit with my knees facing forward (and I'm pretty short), and the bathroom didn't have a proper door (just a sliding panel that covered the opening, like a cheap closet).

I would not stay in this hotel again and wouldn't recommend it to others.

A couple things to note if you are actually considering staying here"
*They don't let you take your key out of the hotel. You have to turn it in at the front desk each time you leave and pick it up each time you return.
*There is a city tax applied to your stay, and you must pay it in cash as you leave. We were completely out of cash by the time we checked out and ended up arguing with the desk clerk until he finally agreed to run our credit card.
*There is a grocery store about a block away from the hotel, and having a fridge in your room in nice if you want to buy some food there instead of eating out every meal.

Room tip: Avoid the top floor on the side nearest to the church--low ceilings!

Location is perfect, very close to the Tuilerie tube and garden
Clean
Old fashion hotel where the doorman keeps the key when you are away

Got a top roof room for the price of a regular room with very tiny windows, not particularly nice
Not very good insulation, we could hear in the corridor and neighbours room

But considering the price, would recommend to young travellers who are not staying too much indoor or for just 1 night

Room tip: Ask for the rooms that are not on the top floor

We had a triple room for parents and grown child. The pics of the room showed nice space. The actual room had the third bed near the window, across from the bathroom door. If the bed were where it was in the photo it would have blocked access to the bathroom. Beds comfort were okay. The bathroom had short western style swinging doors which allowed for zero privacy. The bathroom also got so steamed up when you showered that you could not see, or dry off from the moisture. A lot of reviewers mention the steps, there are a lot, and they are spiralish with thick carpet that is lumpy so you do need to be careful. We were one floor up from reception so we did not use the lift. We did not have hotel breakfast, plenty of cafes/bakeries/restaurants near by for better prices. View from our room was nice, neighboring church and shopping area, typical Paris! We did love the location in the 1st arr. Easy walk to Louvre, Opera House, Notre Dame, etc. We were there in January, heat was good. We were not in the room much, but the bathroom doors were an issue. I wouldn't say it was a bad experience, but they should really replace the door, or just use the room as a double room. I would shop around before thinking of using this hotel again for a three person stay.
