“Nice hotel in a great area”

Jardin de L'Odeon

This hotel is in a fantastic area, yet the hotel's street is quiet and residential. I booked a superior room with a private terrace. If you can do this do, as you get a fabulous view of the Odeon, and you have a table and chair set, perfect for sitting outside if weather permits. I looked at a few other rooms, which were all nicely decorated, just a little smaller and without the view. The room was nicely decorated, and had some nice furniture pieces and yet did not feel overcorwded. The toilet and bathroom were separate, and in good condition,m and of a reasobable. Both were spotless. I have stayed in many hotels in Paris and I would strongly receommend this one. I didn't have breakfast in the hotel, but at Cafe Danton opposite the Metro, it is cheaper than the hotel and I thought it was good. The hotel staff were pleasant and helpful at all times.

“Fabulous Hotel!”

My husband and I recently stayed here and we loved it! Perfect hotel in the perfect location. Great staff, very helpful. Wonderful breakfast, very tasty and quite a variety. The room we were in was a deluxe, and it was great. We noticed some rooms faced only into the courtyard, so I would recommend a deluxe room on the top floor - the view, balcony, and extra space was well worth the extra money. Superb place overall! We will absolutely stay here again and recommend it to everyone.

We stayed at the Jardin de l'Odeon for 4 nights towards the end of August. We managed to find great deal (approx £80 per night room only) and there were good reviews on Tripadvisor.

We really stuggled to find the hotel from the metro station (Luxembourg I think) - the map we had wasn't detailed enough to show all the tiny little streets in the area so it was difficult to work out where we were. We finally gave up on the map and phoned the hotel - and the lady there was extremely helpful, gave us very clear directions and we arrived within minutes.

Check in was quick and efficient. The staff were very friendly and polite every time we spoke with them, and fortunately they spoke great English! The hotel looked lovely, and was very stylishly decorated. Our room was on the first floor. The lift is very small so if you are travelling as a family, you'd probably need a few trips!

Our room was a bit on the small side but not too cramped and the furniture made the best use of the space available. The bathroom was a good size, with a bath and shower. It was all kept extremely clean throughout our stay.

Breakfast was a typical continental breakfast i.e. pastries, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, toast, cereal, cold meats etc. It cost 12 euros, which we felt was a bit expensive for what it was but it was always presented very well and as always, the staff were very polite and attentive.

The hotel is lovely in its own right, but the best thing about it is its location - St Chapelle, Notre Dame, the Louvre and more all within a very short walk; we didn't need to use the metro that often. There's some lovely bars and restaurants close by, the whole area has a great vibe - really lively but also safe. It always seemed to be really bustling no matter what time of day.

We had a truly lovely stay and a fabulous trip to Paris, and I have no hesitation in recommending the Jardin de l'Odeon (as long as you have a good detailed map!).

“Wonderful visit to Paris”

This was our very first visit to Paris and this hotel was recommended by our booking agent, as they had personally stayed there.

It is a first class hotel, very comfortable, excellent decor, spotlessly clean, and very friendly staff. The room and en-suite were what you would expect from a good 3 star hotel in Britain, with the exception of no tea/coffe making facilities, which we were told in advance was the norm in 3 star hotels in Paris. It did no present a problem as there were plenty of cafe's & bars only yards away. The breakfast fully met our expectations and you were not restricted to the amount available.

The location of this hotel is ideal. It is within an easy 10 min walk to the River, 15 min to The Louvre or Notre Dame. The Odeon Metro station is a three minute walk.

We will return to Paris in the future and will make this hotel our first choice. We would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone else.

We had a wonderful stay in Jardin de L'Odeon. The location is perfect, close by the metro Odeon and some nice restaurants. The street where the hotel is located is quiet, but close to the busy Boulevard Saint-Germain (with nice shops!). The district St-Germain-des-Prés and Quartier Latin offer a lot of nice shops and restaurants. The Jardin du Luxembourg is romantic!
