Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and did not find it lacking in any way. I stopped by early to see if I could leave my luggage (they do have a storage room) and was offered an upgrade to a double room that was already available. Turned out to be very nice although I saw the single room and it would have been totally roomy enough for one person as well. I did take advantage of the breakfast for 12Euro and was glad I did since you can easily spend a lot more than that and I am one who likes to start the day enjoying breakfast. As many coffee refills as you want which you cannot get in a restaurant in Paris. The room was quiet and the window opened for some air flow.
The front desk staff was very helpful making calls and doing my web check in for me. There is an elevator in the hotel building but apparently not in the residences building across the street. From what I say the staff would absolutely help with luggage up the stairs if asked.

Room tip: While there is an elevator it is small and slow. If you take a room on the second or third floor it is easy to use the stairs for daily in and out. If you want the kitchenette rooms be aware that there is no elevator in that building.

We came to Paris for our first trip. I chose this hotel simply due to location as it was close to the louvre and closely surrounding attractions.
The studio was ok the kitchenette was adequate, however it lacked the basics such as tea coffee sugar milk! The bathroom was very small and dated. The spare quilt in the cupboard had a previous occupying persons pubic hair on it!
Breakfast was OK nothing great!
I would have personally rather have stayed in the main hotel building rather than a 3-5 minute walk away from main building.
I ask myself when I write these reviews would I stay here again? My answer is definitely No! I would not, look for something better in the same same price range.
The area where the hotel is situated is extremely expensive, it was averaging 25 euros for 2 beverages in local bars.

Not a big, fancy hotel - but very clean and cozy, and you cannot beat the location! The Louvre is within a couple of blocks, and just across the river from the D'Orsay. Tons of stores and restaurants in the area as well.
The only down sides - as some have mentioned, some of the rooms (including the one I stayed in), have a step down as soon as you open your door, but it was never a problem for me (just meant that I had to lift my luggage up that step to get it in the room). Also the shower had drainage issues.
I would definitely stay here again!

Stayed there for 3 nights, is conveniently located for shopping and sightseeing but be aware that there is no elevator, nor did they offer any help whatsoever with luggage. With a recent sprained/fractured ankle it was kind of difficult to climb 4 flights of stairs sometimes more than once a day. Receptionist girl nice, boy seemed annoyed. Breakfast was €12 pp but we didnt try it, as we didnt think it was worth the price (just like all the food that we consumed in Paris, France except for Laduree macaroons)

The hotel is located on a side street so a little difficult for taxi driver to find. The elevator is a tight squeeze for 2 people without any luggage. If you are claustrophobic, you will need to take the stairs which are circular and steep. You actually have to climb up one flight of stairs to be on floor number 1 since the lobby is technically 0. The rooms were small but clean and have everything you need. The location was awesome for access to the Metro, 2 stops on 2 different lines less than 5 minute walk. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel is an easy walk to many sights and restaurants. We would recommend the hotel for your trip to Paris.
