Have just stayed here in a duplex room, a double bed and a sofabed. The views from the rooms were amazing. Next time I would have booked a double room, as the views are mostly as good and the doubles are considerably cheaper. The room was clean and the staff were polite though not overly helpful. The bathroom was a reasonable size (not quite a shoe box!) for Paris with a nice bath. The hotel is very well located, around the corner from St Michel, which has a direct Mertro Line to the Gard du Nord, St Michel itself which is a bustling
area, a minute's walk from Shakespeare and Co. which is always fun to see, and of course almost opposite Notre Dame Cathdral. The breakfast/lounge room has great views over the street below, the Seine and is great for people watching. Breakfast for 7 Euros is tea or coffee, a good croissant and a bread roll. Not bad value compared to other Parisian hotels, there are however plenty of other places to have breakfast outside of the hotel. I think this is a good choice
of hotel for the first time visitor to Paris.
