1728 is located in a small unpretentious street in one of Paris' most upmarket quarters.
If you want to go to somewhere really special original & romantic this is the place to be. The decor is sumptuous without being overpowering, the restaurant is divided into several rooms which are both private & intimate. An ideal place for a business diner or lunch. Service was good, staff were friendly but could more engaging. The meal was very disappointing. We waiting over 3/4 hour for our first course which consisited of Chesnut Cream Soup & Tatar of Tuna hardly the .The second course was served in god time, however the food was not up to the standard one would expect form such a prestigious address.
