This restaurant came highly recommended to us. However our experience was beyond terrible. We were told that the restraurant had an amazing view of Paris, but the window was so dirty that we could not even see out of it. My colleague had to use the bathroom and was told she had to go three floors down to the museum as none of the toilets worked in the restaurant. When she got down there, they sent her back up two flights where the bathrooms were magically working again.
At such a toursity restaurant, you would expect that the waitress would speak even a slight amount of english, but no, our waitress, who looked like she should be working on a street corner, was did not understand a WORD of english!! My boss ordered the filet, and asked for it to be cooked medium rare. It came out looking like it was on the grill for 1 hour and a half. They were out of most of the appetizers that we ordered so we were left to choose from half of the menu to start.
I had the lobster pasta, which was supposed to be one of the best entrees on the menu, and it was absolutely terrible. It tasted like vegetarian pasta, and I had to ask two waiters if it actually even had lobster in it. (I asked the first time but our waitress had no idea what I was talking about because she does not understand a word of english.
Finally when we told the waitress about the overcooked filet, and she did not do anything we just got the bill and left. It was the most expensive meal we had had yet in Paris, and the worst experience. I would NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone that is looking for quality food.
