Quite a surprise and seriously good.
We immediately felt at home in this beautiful old building after a warm welcome from Nico and Christianne who clearly enjoy the company of people.
Nico's breakfast omelettes and brewed coffee etc. set the scene for a fine day which finishes with a high quality 3 course meal made, as Nico passionately states, with fresh quality food presented without excess embellishment and with plenty of flavour. He just enjoys creating dishes for people to enjoy (with the local wines of their choice). We ate in every night full of anticipation.
The rooms are spacious and comfortable and sleeping was easy.
Access up the hill to Cordes sur Ciel is a leisurely steepish 20-25 minute walk with great views on the way.
Touring the area including the Bastides is most worthwhile.
We look forward to returning.
