We chose the Citea Toulouse St. Cyprien as hotel in Toulouse because it was a little out of the heart of the city but very close between two metro stops with an underground private garage to leave our car. It turned out to be a perfect choice. The hotel room itself, a superior studio, was without much charm. But it was very clean, a decent size and had a little fully equipped kitchenette and free wifi. The breakfast was excellent for the price. It included a buffet with cereals, lots of bread choices and pastry items including croissants, pain aux raisins and little pain aux chocolat plus choices of yogurts, cheeses, good coffee and three choices of fruit juice. The hotel staff was extremely nice and helpful. And the location was perfect. We didn't want to drive in the city and wanted to leave some of our baggage in the car without worrying about theft. The car park was ample and was shared with just a few automobiles connected with the post office. At the time we booked, there was a small charge of 8 euros a night for the parking. It was important to let them know you wanted to park your car when you made your booking arrangements. It was just two blocks in either direction to two metro stops (one of which was St. Cyprien) which were just a few stops from the city center. There were also little restaurants nearby at the St. Cyprien stop which is to stop to visit the Abbatoirs (Toulouse's museum of modern art). I think it is an excellent choice for those who want convenience and value.
