We stayed at Pere Leon for one night having recently flown into Toulouse for the start of a Break in France. It took us a while to find the car park near the hotel but eventually we parked up and the hotel was literally a few yards away. The 24 hour rate was 19 euros which wasn't bad for city centre parking. Check in at the hotel was courteous, quick and efficient and our room on the fifth floor was nicely modern with a comfortable double bed. They have clearly invested heavily in a recent refurbishment and the result is a good value, nicely air conditioned room in a location which provides good walking access to Central Toulouse. We decided not to have the full buffet breakfast next morning but instead opted for a lighter option comprising coffee, croissant, bread, butter and jam for 5 euros. Overall a very pleasant but brief stay in Toulouse but we will return and would certainly consider staying at Pierre Leon again.

Dear Andyccpc,
Many thanks for your comment and for having shared your nice experience at the Hotel Le Pere Leon. We are happy that the comfort of the hotel pleased you, the welcome and the localization too. The public car park is a little expensive but you're right this is the same price in the others and this is the safest and nearest solution for the cars.
For the breakfast, you have choice indeed, the brasserie propose a continental one for 5€, the one of the hotel is a buffet at 9.50€.
We hope to welcome you for a future stay in Toulouse, please contact us directly to get the best price. Kind regards, Anne LAZZARI

Nothing fancy - rather minimalist, in fact. However, the room was equipped with everything required, except a coffee maker or tea kettle (je suis des Etats-Unis...). Not a fan of the strange, rubbery flooring in the bath (?), but the shower was great. Location was fantastic for seeing the sites of Toulouse. In the middle of everything, with many, many excellent restaurants and shops within walking distance. Lively area - but, you heard no noise from the street or cafes in the room. I was in town on business, but had a great time in the evening exploring the cobblestone streets (I only wish the shops had been open later!). Anne, the hotel manager, was wonderfully helpful and accommodating. All of the staff members were very nice. Would definitely recommend.

Dear arisma,
My team and I want to thank you for your comment and for having taken time to share your experience at the Hotel Le Pere Leon.
You spent a lovely stay with us and that's the most important for me and my staff, even if you would have prefered a kettle in the room but we'll think about this idea.
We hope to welcome you for a future stay in Toulouse, please contact us directly to book and to get the best price, and maybe a kettle in your room. Best Regards, Anne LAZZARI

The hotel is located in the absolute city center of Toulouse, and the smallness of the city makes it easy to walk to almost everywhere within 15 minutes. Also, the subway Esquirol, and not far from a station on the other of Toulouses' two subway lines.

The staff is really helpful and nice, and helped me with other things related to my stay. The rooms feel very new and tidy. The bathroom is excellent.

I can't really think of much to complain about. Maybe the slow elevator, and the breakfast. The hotel serve breakfast at an expense of 9 euros, which it is not worth in my opinion. It is much more nice (and cheaper) to eat outside!

Dear Andreas Vigren,
We've juste read your comment about your stay in Le Pere Leon Hotel and we thank you very much.
You're right, the hotel has a really convenient localization to visit the city of Toulouse on foot or by taking bus or metro just in front of the hotel.
We are sorry for the slowness of the elevator and for the breakfast you found a little expensive.
We hope to welcome you once again, please contact us directly to make your next reservation.
Best Regards,
Anne LAZZARI

We're just back from a 3 night stay in Toulouse for a short break and were delighted with our choice of hotel, which we found thanks to the reviews here! The Pere Leon is a really good hotel; friendly staff, spotlessly clean, lovely rooms and shower rooms. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've slept on and the windows were amazingly good at keeping out the considerable noise from the busy street below. Our room was clean, modern and fresh and had air conditioning and a safe. And a large TV (which we didn't switch on). Toulouse is a friendly city with plenty to see and do, and the Pere Leon is perfectly situated for walking or taking the metro. Lots of good places to eat nearby too. I'm not sure if we'll return to Toulouse (so many cities, such little time!) but if we did, I wouldn't think of staying anywhere else.

Was in Toulouse for almost three weeks with a friend who was there on a business trip. We booked in for two weeks but extended our booking for the rest of our stay because we enjoyed it there.
The hotel is situated right near Esqirol station which makes transport easy, whether from/to the airport, for everyday travel and also for extended trips beyond the city. It is also close (easy walking distance) to Pont Neuf and the Capitole, as well as many shops, sights, cafés and restaurants.
The room we had was a good size with enough space for us (and our large amounts of luggage!) While there are no kitchen faculties in the rooms, the staff were happy to heat up any food when needed, provide us with crockery and cutlery, and open our wine for us. The room was cleaned well daily and staff were available at all hours. Which brings me to the biggest asset of this hotel: their staff.
Not only friendly and professional but they also went well above what I'd expect of them to find us restaurants and bars, and also itinerary help and recommendations which extended beyond Toulouse and into two other cities we went to, Albi and Carcassonne. It was lovely to talk to them whenever we left or returned to the hotel and I'd like to say another thank you to them for their help and for making our stay lovely.
I would recommend this hotel and also would be happy to stay there again.
