What a lovely hotel this is. But don't go thinking tiles and glass and all things modern. I needed to overnight in Toulouse before catching the train to Carcassonne. This hotel is within walking distance of the airport bus drop off and the rail station. I arrived prior to check in. The staff were very helpful and stored my luggage and had it in my room when I was able to check in. The staff were extremely helpful and had good English - much to my shame my French is almost non existant. The room was much larger than I expected after Paris. It was bright and clean. The floor covering, which I think was sisal, even went into the bathroom which was a little disconcerting! I am used to tiles. But there was no damp smell. There were a few cracks in the tiles around the bath, but not too bad. The decor was shabby chic and they even put a small vase of fresh flowers in the room. Really charming. The room was quiete and had an air conditioner.
