If you want a hotel connected to the train station in Le Mans, the All Seasons (now called Ibis Styles) may be your only choice. Rooms are quiet but tiny, hot, and spartan. The only place to open a suitcase is on the desk or on the bed. Only one electric outlet is visible--inconvenient for two people with laptops. No toiletries are provided, but a few amenities are for sale in a vending machine by the elevator. Towels are thin and small. The thermostat registered 26.5C regardless of where it was set.
If you need to catch an early train, the Ibis may be acceptable for an overnight stay. For comfort, look farther afield.
