We stayed for 1 night en route to the Vendee.

We had 2 triple rooms, which were small and the bathrooms very small!!

Rooms were clean, although the corridors had a overwhelming smell of smoke. Didn't use the buffet breakfast.

Staff very friendly and helpful. We hopped on the tram right outside and in 15 minutes were in the main square of Le Mans. Had a lovely al freso meal. Definitely worth the effort.

Slept ok - beds hard for some!

Would stay again if an overnight stop was required.

My wife and I, and the dog, stayed 1 night on a stop over from Calais to the Vendee. Room was basic and and a bit tired but clean. Bed was quite hard and due to no AC a little warm due to a hot night. For 37 Euros we got what we paid for, a basic, cheap overnight stay, no complaints. Easy access off the motorway and easy to find.

We got a double bed with en suite for 37 Euro so the price was reasonable. But the bed was very hard, the room was hot and the en suite was very small - especially the shower with the plastic curtain sticking as they do. If the en suite wall was kept straight they would have a much bigger en suite and only lose a small amount of room space. The hotel was easy to find and the staff were very helpful with good local knowledge with good English speaking skills. We had off street parking and free Wi Fi. Breakfast was good and plentiful which gave us a good start to the next day and the freeway to Paris was only about 3kms away. There was a good shopping centre across the road which was about a 2 minute walk and it was very useful to purchase drinks and food etc.

My husband and I stayed in this hotel as a stop over with our two young children two weeks ago. On first entering our very basic room it was as we expected very small and certainly very basic but you get what you pay for. We were on the ground floor and the room was very hot so we couldn't leave the window open. ans the room had a stale old cigarette smell!

What we didn't expect was when I turned over in bed before drifting off and seeing a huge green slug very close to my face on the bedside table! Disgusting! My husband promptly removed it for me (down the toilet!). In the morning before we had opened the curtains or turned on the lights the boys were complaining to us saying that they had ants crawling on them! We thought they were dreaming until we turned on the light to see that we were also covered in hundreds of ants! They were all over the bed!!!

We never moved as fast to get out of this disgusting and dirty room! When we complained to the staff they did not seem bothered at all, They offered us a free breakfast but as our bedroom was next to the kitchen we saw how dirty that looked too as we were checking out!

Economy shouldn't mean dirty! I know you get what you pay for but I really didn't expect or appreciate the extra guests!

I wanted a stopover on my way back from south-west France and found this place via Tripadvisor.
Firstly it was ok to find however it’s in quite a built up area near the university. My room was very basic with a bunk bed over the top of the main bed which I managed to bang my head on a number of times. The shower/loo cubicle is built for seemingly very small people. I am only average build however when the shower curtain sticks to your back when you are showering it just doesn't hit the mark.
Also it doesn't have evening meal facilities so the staff provided me with options. I decided to walk to an Italian restaurant which was about 15-20 minutes away. Unfortunately for me I wanted an early meal but found out when I arrived there that the place didn't open until 7pm, point to note.
The night I stopped over France were playing in the world cup and the bar across the road was extremely noisy. The room was also very hot with no air conditioning so I had to keep the window open; it wasn't a good night for me.
The hotel was however clean internally and in a safe area, the breakfast I can say was the best thing about the hotel although very basic fare.
Would I stop there again.....No, there are far better places with access to meal facilities elsewhere in the city.

Room tip: My room was at the front of the hotel with sun shining directly onto it. It was extremely hot and did not cool down overnight.
