I agree with the comments posted by the guest from Farnham especially regarding this hotel's location which is lovely. However during the last night of our stay whilst we were eating dinner in the hotel dining room our bedroom was entered by someone with a duplicate or pass key and all our money was stolen. We were asked for our room number before we sat down to eat so clearly members of the hotel staff were able to watch us eating and knew that our room was unoccupied. We reported the theft to the police who said this type of scam can happen in France.

We communicated with Accor management on our return who accused us of lying by saying the theft could have happened elsewhere and our requests for compensation have so far been refused.

We are now letting all our friends know about this and giving this matter the widest publicity.

If this matter is resolved satisfactorily and we are compensated for our loss in the future I will be only too pleased to let everyone know.

In the meantime my advice has to be DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL.

Stayed 2 nights in Sept 2004. The location is fantastic overlooking a lake. The room was clean, spacious, quiet and well aired. The staff were friendly and the food good.
