Stayed 3 nights here from 10 May. Got a great deal with b/fast and a superior room. Easy walk - and easy to find from airport express bus. Check in very pleasant and efficient. Lobby area nice with quirky chairs and pictures. We were on 5th floor and room overlooked internal garden/courtyard area and other rooms. Had a small balcony. Very quiet.
Room itself was all we needed - not wow but very pleasant. The bed was the biggest I have had in a hotel, at I would say either 7ft 6 or 8 ft wide. So so comfy every night we slept really well.
Bathroom good. Tea and coffee making in room and fairly expensive (as expected) mini bar. Free wifi worked really well. Flat screen tv.
The breakfast was nice - could eat inside or on a sunny terrace. Cereals, nice selection of breads and pastries, fresh fruit - prepared oranges/grapefruit/pineapple and a mixed fresh fruit salad, yogurts, proper fruit juices, lovely preserves, some hot choices, and a little organic section with cereals/jams/bio milk etc. B/fast 7-10.30 and was cleared away pretty much on the dot of 10.30 so allow enough time.
Lots of work going on in some areas - mainly where the conference rooms were in preparation for the film festival but this wasn't intrusive in any way. The hotel's private beach was closed as it was being floored and tented for the festival. Didn't really bother us but it would have been nice if the hotel had offered something in lieu - as a nice gesture? Our booking did say access to the private beach.
Check out also good and very polite/friendly'
The location of the hotel is super. Handy to beachfront and also right on rue d'Antibes for reasonable shopping. Loads of restaurants nearby and monoprix for bits and pieces.
We left by train and also very convenient for this too.
All in all a lovely stay and I would return.
