Although we found the hotel directions a bit confusing, once we found the hotel it was love at first sight. We had a large two bed/two bath suite with a balcony looking over the sea. Just perfect when you've been living out of hotel rooms for a couple of weeks. The beds and sofas were comfortable and it was nice to be able to safely open our balcony doors to the night air. We took the bus from Eze to Nice (1.30 euros) after a nightmare drive to Monaco. The bus picked us up just outside the hotel and dropped us off in downtown Nice within walking distance of the water. There are wonderful places to eat in Eze. We had two dinners at Colette's Cafe. Excellent food and ambiance. Our server, Marinella, made us feel so welcome. And we totally blew the budget at Chateau Eza, near the top of the medieval village. Don't wear high heels, ladies; it is straight up slippery cobblestones, no cars allowed. When we finally got to the restaurant, the climb was worth it. We had a panoramic view of Nice and Cap Ferrat and the Mediterranean Sea. As it got dark, the lights came on all along the coast, shimmering like a diamond necklace. And for some reason, we were also treated to a wonderful fireworks display from the Cap. The food was fabulous and the service out of this world. Recommend Eze and the Residence Villa highly.

We had five nights at Eza Vista and we really enjoyed our stay. Our two-bed apartment was very spacious and our balcony had lovely views of the sea. The staff were fantastic and helped us in any way they could. Two small negatives were the pool wasnt heated and the noise of road traffic from the pool/terrace was sometimes a bit annoying. But overall we were impressed with the place. The best bit about staying here was being so near to the old village of Eze which is very cosy and romantic, with lovely views and restaurants. We will definitely return!

“Fantastic apartment!”

My husband and I booked a 6 person apartment here for three nights at the end of April as we were travelling with another couple and needed to have two separate bedrooms. We were extremely impressed with the Eza Vista - the apartment was fully equipped with everything we needed and was very clean and comfy. All apartments appeared to have a sea view and balcony.

The location is quite good for visiting both Monaco and Nice - about 10 mins drive to the centre of Monaco and about 30 mins drive to Nice. Eze itself was also a fantastic place to visit - a walk up the hill to the castle is well worthwhile. We tried out two of the local restaurants in Eze as well and both were very good.

All in all this was a fantastic place to stay and great value compared to the cost of hotels in Monaco.

“Great for families”

We rented a one bedroom apartment for three nights and thought the accommodations were great. We were traveling with our two young daughters and it met our needs well. The hotel is within an easy drive to both Nice and Monaco, and offers amazing views of the castle and the coast. I would highly recommend this location to other families who prefer a little more space (ie: kitchenette, separate bedroom, etc.) when traveling.
I would avoid the hotel breakfast because it isn't a great value and the bakery next door to the hotel is great. Don't miss walking up to the castle. Picture perfect if a little touristy.

“A peaceful, unusual place to stay”

Eza Vista

If you want peace and quiet in a new, modern property then this is the place for you. My partner and I stayed 2 nights in a one bedroom apartment (which could accomodate up to 4 persons including a double sofa bed). Everything was new and clean. Our room enjoyed a balcony and two patio doors out onto our own private south facing sun terrace. We were right next to the pool and the sun deck. Wonderful views across the hillside and overlooking the coastline beyond. The room was equipped with a good quality bathroom with separate toilet and a kitchenette with hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and crockery, cutlery pots, pans etc. It's right in the heart of Eze village and in walking distance of the local restaurants and the quaint old town - a must see. We had a car (essential) so trips to Monte Carlo (20 mins) and Nice (20 mins) were straightforward. There was no bar or restaurant in the property and the breakfast comprised of french bread, croissants, cornflakes and juice so we would recomend breakfast in the local cafe. There's a bakers right next door and we bought delicious breakfast food there. The property is unstaffed at night but security throughout was of a high standard. We enjoyed our stay and would use the property again as a base for exploring the surrounding area.
