My husband and I stayed here for three nights after a very disappointing stay at La Mirande in Avignon. What a Difference!!!! For the same room category as La Mirand (Junior Suite at 465 Euros a night), this room was large, beautifully appointed, comfortable and decorated in the Provencial style. We had a private terrace with the ability to dine and lay out on lounge chairs. The staff was so accomodating, the property is georgous and the restaurant is superb -- we ate here two out of the three nights we stayed. Can't wait to return!!

The Bastide Saint Antoine is heaven. I used to think that chosing the best restaurant I've ever eaten at was like chosing who was the best center fielder in NY in the 50's. How do you split Willie Mays and Mickey Mantle? How do you split Charlie Trotter, Daniel Bouloud, etc?
Well...Bastide Saint Antoine is the best restaurant I've ever been to.
We've eaten there twice over the past few years and a few weeks ago we had dinner and spent the night. The hotel is as wonderful as the restaurant. The rooms are huge and beautifully appointed. You simply can't do better.
