Just got back from a terrific week of sun and fun with wife and adult son. The really outstanding part of this trip was the service. Book me a table on the terrace at Le Bacon, find me a more typical, local restaurant, arrange a unique day in the country we will always remember, a place at a private beach, a car at the airport, get me a book I'd forgotten at home, open the hammam early --all this and more were accommodated with pleasure.
From the concierge and his staff, to the chamber maids and the waiters, everyone was more than professional. They were eager to have you enjoy your stay in the place they generally feel lucky to live. The Hotel's Art Deco elegance has been burnished and shines everywhere, guest rooms (largish for France), hallways, bar, lounge, restaurant. Their photos are accurate.
While the pool is lovely, it's true they have no beach of their own. But Les Pecheurs private Beach Club is a 15 minute walk which we found worth doing twice --great day and delicious salade nicoise.
These days I believe you rarely get what you pay for in a hotel. But, while Hotel Juana is relatively expensive, I thought it was a good value.
