This modern hotel is built around a large atrium with pleasant public areas. The staff are friendly and helpful and speak good English. Although a tourist hotel, it's also used for conferences so you may encounter lots of people in suits and name badges milling around during the day. Outside is a large swimming pool with loungers (we were told they charge for lounger use in high summer) and there is also a little-used small indoor swimming pool and sauna tucked away in the corner of the basement. The rooms are comfortable enough, though the recent refurbishment using trendy "distressed" wallpaper may not be to everyone's taste. We encountered some niggling maintenance problems involving inadequate air conditioning and bath plug mechanisms that didn't work, so I suggest you check these things before unpacking. Breakfast is a buffet in a large and pleasant room (refurbished since our last visit), spilling outside in good weather. For the evening there are plenty of good restaurants within about five minutes' walk: I recommend La Bodega, La Bamba, Lou Can-Can and the slightly more expensive Le Perroquet. If you're arriving at Nice Airport you can take a taxi for €70-90 or bus no. 200 from the small bus station outside the arrivals hall for €1.30 - you choose.
