I've been back to this hotle 5 times because it is amazing!
Room:
Gorgeous and fairly big. The bathroom is big and you get a proper bathtub and shower. The place is spotless and if you get a sea view room the views are stunning.

Pool area:
Beautiful, fairly sucluded and alot easier then the kerfuffle of the beach. Very compfy sunloungers and the pool is lovely.

Rest of it:
The staff are lovely, so helpful! I've been on the pirvate beach wihc is nice better than public.

Location:
I've been to menton since i was 10 and i'm not 19 and i still love it every single time. So much character and amazing food which isn;t too expensive. Nice in the evennings for cocktails.

Overall its lovely but if you are seeking adventure or hard water sports maybe not your thing but for relaxing holiday wiht culture its perfect!!!

Hotel Napoleon - What a treat! It overlooks the promenade in Menton. We stayed in a suite that overlooked Garavan Bay - a truly sandy beach along the French Mediteranean. The bedroom had a large glass window and there was even a large glass window that was in the bathroom where one could take a bath and gaze out on the bay. There was a separate toilet area from the bathing area, nice sized closet space. All was immaculate and seemed to be newly remodeled. Original art work of Jean Cousteau adorned the room. We spent several eveings enjoying wine and cheese on the veranda just enjoying the view. The hotel has a small pool out front and provides a private beach with chairs across the street. They have a restaurant on the beach and serve breakfast downstairs. The cost of the suite was similar to what we paid for a small room in Paris and other rooms were very reasonable. Highly recommend the darling town of Menton as well as I highly recommend Hotel Napoleon.

We're just back from a perfect few days at the Napoleon. Our spacious room had a balcony overlooking the Mediterranean in front, the Italian coast to the left & the beautiful red ochre Menton architecture to the right. All staff were friendly & helpful & the swimming pool area was a lovely place to relax & cool off. For those not wanting the hotel breakfast (11 euro) there were good options in the vicinity, many of them Italian. Fairly good public beaches are close by & many private ones for extra comfort. Highly recommended.

Due to the F1 Grand Prix being on in the next town, we assumed there would be no accomodation in Menton; planning to just visit for the afternoon and drive on further into Italy. I asked at the desk on a whim and they asked us to wait 15 mins as there might be a room becoming available. They counted down with us and were almost as excited as us about our luck. The room had a sea view (407) and had recently been renovated with modern and stylish bathroom (shower over deep bath tub), luxery hotel branded toileteries and heated wall length towel racks. The bedroom was mimalist but elegant, comfortable down pillows and doona, a desk, armchair and still room to move. Its greatest asset is ofcourse the view. Extremely convenient location to walk into the old town centre, pick up essentials from the supermarket opposite. We did not use the hotels private beach and restuarant however it looked one of the best beachfront dining experiences in Menton.
