My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights at the end of March 2008. The overall impression was very good. Easy to get to on Bus 98 from the Airport and close to almost everything in Nice. Our room on the second floor lacked a window but that ensured a silent night!! At 80 Euro a night it was a steal compared to the fact that we went on to Paris and paid more than double that amount for a room half the size!!!

Just returned from a very enjoyable trip to Nice.
This hotel is perfectly situated for everything that you need.
Room was average size and was very quiet at night which is rare in cities. Reception staff were very helpful and spoke several languages. Breakfast was standard continental fayre but nicely displayed.
Everything in Nice is very expensive but I can honestly say that the price of this hotel is very reasonable and excellent value for money.

We stayed at Hotel Massenet in the off season so the price was extremely affordable at EUR 80 per night. The room was fairly large, had a small tv, wardrobe, desk, large sliding glass door, and large bathroom. My only complaint about the bathroom was the water in the shower did not get really hot.
The location was exceptional. It is one block from the beach and very close to the row of outdoor dining restaurants. The restaurants are mainly touristy and expensive but it's still nice to be close to them.
The hotel is off a small street and very quiet. I slept great every night.
The staff was helpful and courteous and helped us arrange a tour of the French Rivieria.
Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

This is a medium-sized hotel, well-situated between the pedestrian shopping area and the Promenade des Anglais. From similarity of decor, I would guess that it is a sister establishment to the nearby Hotel Regence.

I would echo the earlier positive reviews. We had a comfortable good-sized room, spotlessly clean and very quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was adequate but nothing special, usual French rolls, croissants etc, there are plenty of cafes close by to offer an alternative.

I have stayed in around 8 hotels in Nice over the last few years, and think this one is probably overall the one I would choose to return to.
