We stayed over the weekend with our three children and two other families from the UK. Overall an excellent break and we would recommend staying at this lovely hotel.

Concerns
Being a small hotel don't expect 24 hour cover. You are on your own from 10pm to 7am. This isn't a problem so long as you are aware.
Apart from the suites the rooms are small - but beautifully appointed. Ideal for couples who travel light.
Breakfast is dissapointing for 14 euros. More fresh produce required
Plastic cups in the bathroom isn't what I expect of a quality hotel

Bottom line
If you are used to big hotels with 24 hour facilities then don't book here. However if you are a flexible traveller who likes a bit of comfort and simple quality then I recommend you do stay at this hotel and enjoy it for what it is - a small independent quality hotel in a fabulous location.

I called and made our reservation the day before we arrived, the hotelier made it so easy, gave us one of the best rooms in the hotel since it wasn't the busy season...The room and porch area were beautiful with fantastic views on all sides. The room was spotless and beautifully decorated.

The hotel enhanced our whole experience in St. Paul de Vence and I highly recommend it.

This hotel is everything a hotel should be. The room was beautifully
decorated with an upscale marble bathroom and a lovely balcony to enjoy the views of the gorgeous countryside in which it is set. The room and entire place were immaculate, the staff very helpful. The location is, indeed, within walking distance of St-Paul-de-Vence. It could not have been any better!

We just returned from four glorious nights at Les Vergers. Jacque and his staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful. His recommendations on less touristy restaurants and places to visit were wonderful.
We stayed in one if the suites which was beautifully appointed. It was also ample enough for a third person if needed as there was a sofa bed. . The bathroom was luxurious and spacious with robes, slippers and plenty of toiletries and towels as well as a towel warmer.
The area was quiet, yet charming and a nice switch from the bustle of a big city.
Having stayed in hotels throughout Europe, we especially loved the added space and extra attention to detail that this little hotel has. We would have stayed longer if we could have. All in all, a wonderful romantic getaway hotel. We will definitely return here.
