My husband & I stayed here at the end of October 2006. The time of year was beautiful, we had very nice weather.
We stayed at 3 hotels in France during our trip and this was by far our favorite. It had the charm we were looking for and we were able to experience the culture of St Remy by staying at this hotel.
The location was perfect. It was a quick walk into town (2 blocks) and there is a grocery store right accross the way. They serve a nice breakfast but if you have a room with a kitchen you can stock up at the local grocery store.
If you enjoy walking the walk to the Ruins of Glanum & the Asylum of Saint-Paul is not far. (Asylum of Saint-Paul is where Van Gogh was voluntarily confined, here he painted "Starry Night" and "Self-Portrait")
The people who own the hotel and there workers were wonderful. Their English was great and they were helpful giving us local information.
The price was a great deal. I would recommend this hotel to all age groups.
They also have a secure gate that closed in the evening- the guests get the code, so you can come & go at night. This was a nice plus and made you feel comfortable.
We stayed in room #33, it was a townhouse syle. It had 2 floors. 2 Bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, and the bathroom was on the 2nd floor.
