Stayed here in mid-March, and was wonderfully surprised. Hotel is centrally location on Place Bellecour square; A brief 5 minute walk to Cathédrale St-Jean (across bridge); or to the pedestrian only Republique street for cafes and shopping; or to the river frontage and subway.
Staff was fluent in English and very helpful with directions and suggestions.
Breakfast was sparse (Coffee, juice, croissant and baguette).
Free wi-fi access.
Room appeared to be recently renovated; bathroom was nicely appointed; water pressure was excellent.
No on-street parking nearby; Parking garage (fee) was available at sister hotel 'Alexandra' on Victor Hugo street, which is 10 minute walk away.
After 10pm, entry requires cypher code to enter building, as property is unstaffed after this time.
