Stayed here as part of a tour for the Rugby World Cup. This hotel is extremely well postioned only a 100 m's from the main train station and a square with cafes etc. The hotel is reasonably basic 'Travel Lodge' style with a small bar in the reception area. Not the type of hotel that you would choose for a romantic break. However for the business traveller or those on a busy city break it is just right and very good value for money. In a twin room we paid somewhere like 38 euros per person per night. This was at a time that there was around 20, 000 rugby fans in town. The main asset this hotel has are the staff who were fantastic throughout. From the reservation staff prior to arrival, to everyone on duty when we were there. They always smiled and offered help where they could. That is not always avaiable in hotels a great deal more expensive than this place. Overall - do not be scared of it.
