The Hotel Gotisches Haus is located just down the street from the main square of Rothenburg and within easy walking distance of everything. We had room 34 which was at the very top of the hotel in the roof space. It was a huge room with separate bathroom and toilet. Don't book it though unless you are able to carry your bags up a narrow circular staircase as the lift only goes to the floor below. Our son had room 33 which was on the 3rd floor (the floor below our room). It was a single and quite small. The rooms clearly vary so you should check the website carefully before you book.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Rothenburg during our vacation in
August. The Gotisches Haus is perfectly located and has very cozy accomodations. Great place to feel the atmosphere of that fantastic region. The hotel is very well ran and the staff is very friendly and professional.

This is a wonderful hotel. The rooms were comfortable and spotless, and we thought the beds were comfortable. The staff was excellent, especially the gentleman at the desk (owner). The breakfast was excellent, and the room where breakfast is served is a delight. The location is the best and parking wsa no problem. This was my favorite hotel of our two weeks in Germany.
