The pros: Incredibly warm and helpful staff - always greeted with a smile. Excellent location that you can easily walk to all points of interest. Great, plentiful breakfast in a charming 500 year old cellar; coffee was excellent and I am a coffee snob; the croissant was one of the best I ever had. The room was quiet (did not hear the people above or next door), spacious and well priced (115 euros for a double). Beds were comfortable - staff accommodated request for extra pillows.
The cons: no AC (common for this area) and no screens on the windows but this did not affect us in May. Other times of the year this may be a problem. High step up into the shower in our room (not sure if it's the same in other rooms) with no shower bar (not an issue for me, but for an older person, this may be an issue).
