Booked my 4 night stay through the German Railroad site and paid 394Euros which included transportation pass good on all buses, stret cars, subway and S trains so you can visit Hamelin, Celle, Hildesheim, etc. It also included the breakfast buffet for which the regular charge is 15 Euros. My single room had a large double bed with feather pillows and warm comforters.
Easy chair with small table, desk with chair, large closet and place to put your suitcase, safe, Color cable TV, nighttables and very clean and modern bathroom with gel soap at the sink and in the shower, heated racks to hang your towels, kleenex, magnifying mirror and hair dryer. The only thing missing was a clock and when I tried to set a wake up call through the telephone I kept getting a busy signal.
Mini-bar is roomy enough to put your own items in although their prices weren't overly high. Two god sized elevators, often in Europe they can be tiny, windows open for ventilation and quiet heating/ac unit.
For some reason housekeeping didn't do the rooms on Sunday and they were not a lot of guests so not sure what the problem was.
The internet is extra and not cheap unless on a business account. I only used the one in the lobby twice for 1 1/2 hours total and it came to 9.5 Euros.
Breakfast buffet has juice, coffee, tea, espresso, cappucino, bottled water, probiotic yogurt drink, cold cuts, cheeses, rolls, breads as well as scramble eggs, broiled tomato, soft boiled eggs, Nurnberger sausages and bacon which looked very greasy. Cereals, jellies, yogurt, herring, fresh fruit platter and much more. Enough to fill you up for the morning and most of the afternoon. The train station is about 1 1/2 blocks away, the dpartment store Galleria is across the street and an indoor mall and post office the next street over. I have stayed at Intercity hotels before and this was up to their standards. Hotel staff very friendly helps to be able to speak German although they all speak English as well.
