Was recommended here by hotel receptionist for an authentic german experience and thoroughly enjoyed it!
Not speaking german was not a problem, my waiter spoke good english, found me an english menu and recommended I try the knuckle of pork which was excellent and served with sauerkraut and saute potatoes. A huge serving (although quite a bit of the knuckle was bone thankfully!) so no room for a pudding, especially after 4 small glasses of the koelsh beer, which was also excellent.
Recommended for a rustic, authentic and lively atmosphere, good food and value for money.
Make sure you have enough cash on you as they don't take credit cards!
