We booked the hotel Suitess on the back of very little evidence, it is very new and there are few if any reviews. However the description on expedia persuaded us and I am glad it was. This is an excellent, luxurious but comfortable hotel in a fantastic location, right opposite the newly restored church in Dresden. There are only 21 rooms which gives it a more personal atmosphere compared to some of the larger and more corporate hotels we snooped on while we were there. the service was faultless and the breakfast huge and delicious. The rooms are a good size and quiet and the beds very comfortable. However I would have to say that the highlight is the roof top spa area with jacuzzi, sauna and steam room which we had entirely to ourselves. It looks out onto the city and opens out onto a terrace with views of the church dome. The hotel also has free wireless internet, although our Eee Pc couldn't access it for some reason, even then the staff took it from us and spent a large amount of time trying to get it to work for us, offering us the use of a guest laptop when they couldn't! All in all this was a great hotel which we got a a reasonable price through expedia in a central location in a lovely city that deserves more visitors. I would definitely return.
