We stayed two nights at the Baltic Hotel.

It was the best price of all the hotels I researched. Upon arrival, we found a spotless hotel directly across from the bus station and was easy as pie to get to Travelmunde. It was only 5 minutes to the main part of town. The operators were very helpful - we were stuck in traffic for 4 hours, and they were still available to check us in even at 8:30 p.m. at night. They let us park our rental car in the garage (but use caution getting out of the garage - with our powerless car, we had more trouble than most backing up out of the garage).

Breakfast was one of the best we had in Europe on our 14 day trip. Fruit, yogurt, scrambled eggs, etc. By far, the most variety and the best quality of the majority of our trip.

The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean and well appointed.

We'd definitely go back if we were to go back to Lubeck.

we had a room with balcony, lovely and peaceful for a read and glass of wine.

Stayed here with our young daughter aged 4. Room has recently been refurbished. Ensuite shower room was huge and spotlessly clean. Very nicely decorated. We had an extra bed put into our room for our daughter, but there was still ample room.
Hotel is opposite the bus station (ZOB), so we had no problem finding it. Yet it was not noisy in the room. The transport from Lubeck airport was cheap and efficient just 2.25 euros each and had red neon signs inside the bus so you could work out where you were.
Hotel opposite a nice bakery shop in the bus station, but we did not need this as the breakfast was vast. Lots of cold meats, cheeses, cereals, fruit etc. The town is only 5 mins walk away with loads of shops, restaurants, the famous marzipan shop and department stores. The train station is behind the bus station so we went to Hamburg for the day(trains every hour). Beach in Travemunde 1 1/2hrs away by boat or 30 mins by bus. Beach resort was gorgeous lots to do on beach for children.

We stayed two nights in this delightful, clean bed and breakfast. The owners were very helpful and spoke excellent English. The rooms were nice and the buffet breakfast was one of the best we had in Europe in 24 days! I would recommend for anyone to stay here. We had a car and they let us put it in their garage!
