Searched long and hard for a Malaga hotel and we found this one. We were not sure what we would find, but it turned out to be a very good decision for us. The hotel is very well located just off the Plaza de la Constitucion and extremely close to all the main attractions in the Centro Historico (Old Town). Location is excellent and not hard to find. I also used Google Earth to see a picture of the outside before arriving. The taxi the airport dropped us off in the Plaza and then it was a one block walk to the hotel. We had to walk because the whole area is a pedestrian area. Malaga has some great tapas and restaurant places, hundreds of them, and at least half of them a short walk from the hotel. Typically European 2 and 3 star hotels have smallish rooms compared to their US counterparts, but this hotel had a fairly large space and a huge bathroom with a terrific, glass shower. The room comes equipped with a laptop PC that you can easily use to connect to anything. WiFi is also free and our reception in the room was excellent. The beds were fairly low to the floor, though. The closet was ample and there were numerous bathroom amenities, soaps, lotion, gels, etc. The interior of the hotel was a beautiful courtyard. The breakfast buffet was really worth the 9 Euros/person. It really was better than anything you could find on the street, and ample and filling. Only minor negatives--the bed was very firm and the pillows fairly flat, but we asked for an additional pillow and that did the trick. The staff was friendly without being fawning. They helped make reservations for trips and recommendations for restaurants. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone. You can stay in a bigger hotel, but the charm and location of this hotel can't be beat.
