We stayed at the Isabel for 11 nights, a lovely clean hotel, nicely presented breakfast, good location, although there wasnt much in the way of entertainment.. There was a shortage of loungers and the parasols were of poor condition, which spoilt the whole appearance of the hotel. Otherwise it was very good value, with lovely spacious room and balcony overlooking the beach. Beware however of the theives around.. as my husband had his wallet and mobile phone stolen from around the pool area, it was our last day and we had packed to go home, so we had all our money with us, the manager was very helpful and gave us 20 euros for taxi fare to the local police station, where we had to report it.. but it did put a dampner on the holiday.. Anybody can walk into the hotel and watch people around the pool, so do be careful..

We stayed at the Isabel for one week. We had booked a front sea view room which was of reasonable size and in good decorative order. The hotel was very clean in all areas and shower gel was provided in the rooms. Paid 4 euros a day for a fridge and was lucky to get one as they are in short supply. I do think that fridges should be provided in a 4 star hotel. Sound proofing between rooms was not great but as we don`t spend a lot of time in the hotel it was not a problem for us. Not a lot of loungers at the pool . The pool would not be suitable for unsupervised children as the shallow end is around 5 feet deep. Breakfast was good and quite civilised.
Coin operated internet is available in the reception area. Bar not staffed at all times which was inconvenient. All staff were polite and helpful, with special mention to the gentleman who looked after the breakfast room.
It was a pleasure to stay at this hotel and we will return on our next visit to the area.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable weeks stay at the Hotel Isabel. The location is ideal for a weeks beach holiday, with the beach just the other side of the road. The hotel itself was immaculately clean and the breakfast was excellent, with a full range of cakes, cereals and cooked food. Our room had a lovely sea view and overlooked the pool. For those who like to lounge by the pool, you will need to get down to breakfast early and bag those sun loungers. The reception in the hotel is manned 24 hours, but as previous reviewers have noted, the bar never seemed to be staffed for the whole of our stay.
The centre of Torremolinos is only a walk away, although up hill, and the train station gives direct access to Malaga. We would recommend the open top bus tour in Malaga as an excellent way to see the City. We will recommend this hotel to family and friends and will definately be back.

My husband and I just returned from a trip to Spain. We spent the first two nights at Hotel Isabel and were very impressed with our stay there.

We took the train from Malaga and just walked from the train station in Torremolinos to the hotel. Since our luggage didn't arrive, we didn't have too much to carry and the walk was quite manageable for us.

The check in was quick. The clerk graciously called Spanair to check on our luggage.

We had room 511. The room was quite small, although it was adequate for our stay in Torremolinos. The width accomodated a double bed and two night stands. However, it did have good lighting. The good thing about the room was that it had a balcony with a small table and two chairs. We sat out on the balcony quite a bit if we were at the hotel.

The bathroom was nicely appointed with a shower that had several nozzles that would give a spa-like shower. Unfortunately the shower doors didn't seal well and the marble floor got very wet.

We were very pleased that the complimentary toiletries included travel toothbrushes with packets of toothpaste. Those were definitely welcomed items!

We found the breakfast to be very good. Since Torremolinos caters to a high amount of British tourists, Hotel Isabel had the fixings for a proper English breakfast- eggs over easy, beans, bacon, bread for toast, etc. There was a wide variety of foods from which to choose.

The hotel is situated right across the street from the beach. It is very convenient to the shopping area and many restaurants.
