Just got back, weather was great. Fantastic to wake up in the morning and see the sun rise whilst laying in bed. Def get a front sea view room, and if you can a corner room, which is slightly upgraded with flat screen TV and tea and coffee facilities. Visit El Cordobes across the road for a reasonable priced meal, great fish and salads. Need English go to the Tudor Rose, but can get busy. The Little Garden is fantastic, turn down the road opposite the statue on the front, and about 400 yards on the right, a Danish restaurant. Great breakfast in the hotel, usual croissants etc., but also cooked hot items, very good. Hotel very clean. Hotel can be noisy, but found only if you are unlucky enough to be next to a family with children - kids will be kids, and they are on holiday too. Great time will go back again.

stayed at hotel isabel for four nights , and i would reccommend this hotel to everyone, from young to old alike. they only do b&b, but there are plenty of places to eat around and about. the breakfasts are very good, and being buffet type you can eat as much as you like. hotel is very central, and right across from the beach, definately book again for a short break.

This was one, if not the cleanest hotel we've ever stayed in! Everywhere, balconies, rooms, pool area and dining room were spotless and all cleaned thoroughly every day.I do agree with a few people who mentioned the noise from other rooms could be heard, but we were there for 11nights and it was very quiet. The pool area is small but very few people seemed to use it as the beach just opposite (accross quite a busy road)is lovely with sun beds with huge padded cushions for 8 euros for 2+umbrella.We ate out every night and found some great restaurants all very near the hotel. The one we liked best was "contessa" just opposite the Mercadona behind the hotel and we found an amazing chinese called "shanghi" where the food was great and extremely reasonable. There are nice promenade walks, all on the flat and we walked into Belamadena Marina a couple of times. There is a lift to torremolinos centre (about a 10 minute walk from the hotel) but we only went a couple of times as we found enough to do around the hotel area.We paid extra for a seaview which we thought was well worth it,It's also 3 euros a day for a safe and the same for a fridge. The fridge is very small with no ice box but it was handy for wine and water.(bring your own opener!)The toiletries were replaced every day and the shower was very good.Breakfast had everything you would need and all in all we thought it was excellent value.

Clean, comfortable hotel right across from the beach. You can rent 2 chairs and an umbrella for 8 Euros on the beach. A little far from downtown but walkable. Lots of stores and food near by. Small food store next door. Good restaurant across the street. We spent most of our days on day trips and tours to Granada, Gibraltar, Morocco, and Seville. Convenient since the tours picked up at the hotel. Bus station about a 20 minute walk away but cheap cab ride. Wi-fi available...fee if using the hotel computer in lobby, free if using own devise (just ask for password at front desk). Hotel staff was very friendly. They call taxis and taxi's arrive in about 1-2 minutes. No ironing boards, but there is an iron (need to get it from the front desk as all the guest share it) Good breakfast at hotel but restaurant (only open in AM). Hotel room had an excellent shower! There is a lift. Pool and lounge chairs outside. Foosball and pool table area. Luggage storage available if needed. Nice lobby bathrooms. (Convenient if spending the day on the beach). Overall great place.

Overall the Hotel was lovely and the room was cleaned every day by a very noisy cleaner ( and that is no joke) i came back about 3pm ( they are supposed to finish by 2pm) one day and my door was wide open i was just about to complain and she walked in ...she also put very damp bedding back on the beds, six times i told her and all she kept saying that it was "clean" She got the message eventually!!! The shower was tempremental and went from luke warm to very hot. The room itself was quite small (twin) so not ideal for long stay, although i would suggest investing in a travel kettle as there are no facilities there if you want hot drink. Breakfast was plentiful, lots to chose out of and you could have as much as you want. Internet was dear and very very slow i paid for 30mins and i still couldnt get a connection - theres a place by jazmines apartments where you can phone as well - quite reasonable and you get a lot faster connection. Theres also a chinese restraunt nearby who do 3 courses for about 7 euros, i ate in about 8 different places and really couldnt fault any of them. There is a tele in the room and the only english speaking channel is cnn news :-( I had a side room which was lovely for what i paid - you still had a lovely view especially in the morning / evening watching the sun come up /down It wasnt the quietest of hotels but it was on the sea front and road. If you can get into Malaga, visit the cathedral - well worth a visit and only 4 euros to get in.
