myself and a friend stayed here recently on a girls weekend.
the hotel itself is absolutely brilliant. very clean. the rooms are cleaned daily and new towels brought (but only if the old ones are left on the floor). the staff are very friendly and nice and really went out of their way to make you feel welcome.
however i found two bad points - the first being the food, there was not much selection and what was on offer wasn't very appetising. the second being it is quite near the airport and with planes arriving and leaving literally every minute can be quite noisy. the other thing is it is not in the centre of torremolinos and there is not much round the hotel. to have a good night out you had to get a taxi into the centre which cost about 8 euros or go to benalmadena which cost roughly 14 euros. also the beach was about 15 minutes walk.

Me andf my partner stayed at the hotel late febuary 2006 and we are both 19. This hotel is advertised as four star on expedia and even though offically it is a 3 star it lives up to a 4. Very stylish marble flooring with funky lifts makes this hotel stand out from others. The frist reviewers comment on music is utter rubbish it is NOT gansta rap which was played it was low quiet classical music which was relaxing and was turned off at a resonable hour.
There was excellent range of food for all and staff very polite.
Bad points are if you are young and like a hip venue then this isnt it it is an older peoples type of hotel in the winter months train station is only a few hundred yards away and takes you into the capital in Malaga in less than 15 mins.

After I had booked this hotel I saw the previous review. I was shocked and really worried about my coming stay. Very quickly I found out that the previous review was utter rubbish. The hotel is exactly what it states. A three star hotel with every choice you could ask for.

The first thing I noticed was how wonderfully clean the place is. Spotless. The staff are brilliant, able to politely answer all queries with a smile.

The food is wonderful with plenty of choice for vegetarians and meat lovers alike. in fact I have never seen such a choice for vegetarians as there was here.

I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone. Please ignore the previous review which seems to have been left by a disgruntled vegitarian who wants five star service while paying for three stars!

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL HOTEL!!

The hotel looks absolutely beautiful but as they say beauty is only skin deep.

I'm a vegetarian and have never had problems on any of our previous holidays but there was NOTHING that I could eat. Everything was covered in meat or fish, even the fried eggs in the morning were on bolognaise sauce! Everyday it was chips and greasey "cheap value" food. I asked the reception if they could cook me plain potatoes and some cheese and salad for dinners but apparently this was not possible!!
We had to eat out 9 days out of the 10 and as a result lost a lot of money.

The hotel was only about a quarter full and there were 2 or 3 other families by the pool each day but the entertainment staff insisted on playing music full blast morning until night. We asked them to turn it down which they would do for an hour but then turn it back up again. The type of music was dance and gangster rap which has a lot of swearing and and racist comments in it. Luckily we had no children with us otherwise we would have been unable to let them sit around the pool area.

We were offered another hotel but it had major building work going on next to it so it was even worse.

We wanted to come home after three days but were unable to as it would have cost us to much to transfer the flights.

We basically spent our holiday with a headache from the loud music and hungry because of the lack of food.
