Booked a two night stay through Hotelclub.net at €86 per double per night including breakfast. The unsmiling receptionist directed us to a room on the 5th floor overlooking the rear of the hotel. We were given two keys to the very small room with small low ceilinged bathroom. The air conditioning did not work so we had to sleep with the windows open. As we were located above the street's bin area this was very noisy. We also had two local dogs taking it in turn to bark constantly. There was a small fridge in the room. The breakfast area was pleasant, the breakfast average. Our hot breakfast was less than lukewarm. The dining room staff should turn the hot food in the Ban Marie from time to time rather than standing around chatting. There is a good sunbathing terrace and swimming pool on the 3rd floor. We were able to get the number 1 bus from the airport to within about 50 yds of the hotel. You could also get the number 1 bus from directly across the road to the Place De Espana (city centre area) for €1.10. This is also beside the main bus station if you are travelling onwards which we were. It is also where you get the old train to Soller. This hotel is conveniently located with a lovely promenade across the road for an evening stroll. If you want to watch any English speaking T.V. the only channell you get is the endlessly looping CNN. If I were staying there longer I would look for a room with balcony toward the front of the hotel. I'm not sure if the room we got was worth the price we paid but as we were on the move again to Soller we were not too bothered.

It was a difficult choice as we wanted to be near the Old Town but with a balcony and sea view. The Costa Azul was definately the right decision.

We stayed in room 815 - a large room at the top of the hotel. The views from the balcony were exceptional and although on the main road we were not disturbed by the traffic. I would certainly request a high room, the lifts are effciient.

We were breakfast only and although it was busy the food was great, a good selection of hot and cold and lots of fresh fruit.

The walk into the Old Town took 10 minutes and its a pretty
walk along the harbour.

We will most certainly return to this hotel and thoroughly recommend it.

Very much like other reviews I have read. The Hotel's position is first class and the views are to die for. We were allocated 801 and have absolutely no complaints, even the lifts were faultless!!
We stayed B & B and, judging by the breakfast, made the correct choice. The guy cooking the eggs needs further tuition and the toaster definitely needs an overhaul.
If location, location, location is your bag then this is THE hotel for you. Enjoy.

Returned from 4 nights at the Costa Azul yesterday & wish we were still there.

Having read all the reviews on TA we were not disappointed and enjoyed a fantastic stay. Get the seaview if you can.
The room was small but spotless and the bathroom was comparatively large and gleaming. The bed skidding across the tiled floor at the slightest nudge did cause us some amusement. No problem with road noise at night with door closed.

Staff were friendly & efficient. Breakfast buffet was ok(I have had worse but I have also had a lot better) Can't say we had a problem queuing for the coffee but did have fun with the toaster.

The drinks at the hotel were the cheapest we found in the locality.

Nice italian restaurant called Giorgios a couple of minutes walk from the hotel(turn right as you exit hotel)

Excellent transport links from airport to hotel & hotel to elsewhere. Don't miss Soller.

Great break in a great hotel & will definitely return.
