We had the type of holiday that you would hope to have with our 3 year old grandson. The Sea Club is all that you could expect if you are looking for somewhere to holiday with the family.
Whilst it is a short walk to the main resturants and bars is does not distract from the attraction of the place, as the views over the sea make up for it.
The entainment my be cheesy but the kids think its great and on a family holiday that always helps.
The apartments are all basic but all that you need.
The one thing that was missing if you are trying to use the facilities in the apartments is an oven or grill. Trying to cook a full meal is a little difficult without one. The rest of the equipment provided is adequate.
Would recommend it for anyone looking for a family holiday.

Booked with First Choice Holidays. 2 adults and 2 children (13 and 2). Very bad weather first few days, so hired a car. Wouldn't rate as 4 star accom - but clean and towels/ bedding changed nearly every other day. All staff very helpful and friendly. On site food ok. Would recommend visit to Santa Galdana - lovely blue lagoon and beach. If staying with small children - request a quiet apartment away from stage (we stayed in Appt No 1 and this was a good, ground floor location. There is a creche and kids club - Creche 7 till 10 or 8 till 11pm (there is a charge) we didn't use it - but a lot did and rated it very well. BBC 1, 2 and Cbeebies in the Appt - (don't need remote control to use it!). Small site, 3 pools, 1 toddler park, mini golf, football pitch, snack bar, restaurant. Breakfast quite expensive 10 Euros adult Child 6 euros (2 to 12 years). Although it is eat all you want. There is a Lidl in Ciudadella - (site shop very expensive). Nearest bars and restaurants, supermarkets within 10 minute stroll - lots of choice. Overall good holiday. First Choice Reps very good.

I travelled to Menorca with my family for a 2 week stay in the Menorca Sea Club.
We have stayed in the sea club once before in 2005.
On arrival we were very happy to see that the english receptionist Emma was still there as she was such a help in 2005 telling us all the best places to visit from the best restaurants, beaches & even cheapest places for cigs & spirits!! We also felt at ease as other guests were commenting on how if there was a problem she could deal with it better than our holiday reps.
If you are hiring a car (which is a must as the island is so nice and easy to drive as there is only one main road.) Get you car from the reception as they work with a really good company very cheap but very professional insurance all in is included in the price they tell you, the reps work with avis who tell you one price then when you get to the avis office they then add on extras (insurance ect..). and it works out very expensive!!
The entertainers in the hotel were terrible the team leader Fran was hardly ever around & the other 2 girls never smiled... the reps shows were unbearable as they could not dance & the singing was horrendous so we had to leave and eat out most nights!!
We will be visiting the sea club again this summer as we love the island & the accomodation.

We stayed here in early June 2006- me, my partner and son of 1.5yrs old. We booked online via First Choice, and we got excellent service from the flight and arrival. The journery from the airport was very long and hot... especially with almost everyone being dropped off with us being last!
The complex is situated on cliff tops with the complex a walk accross the road to the cliffs...my only observation of safety for the children was that there is no gates to stop them from walking out onto the road/cliffs....other than this the whole complex was clean,tidy, and at night although they provided entertainment, it was very quiet just what we needed as very tired parents!
The rooms were basic, the decor not brilliant but provided everything we needed ...the pool were excellent - babies, adults and a 3rd we never really got to see.. There is also a small splash part which is quite entertaining.
The weather was excellent the whole time we were there, and the walk into the town took about 5-10mins,so not too far, plenty of bars/resturants to choose from. All in all a great place for families with small children..!
