We arrived to the apartments when there had been forecasted a big storm. At our arrival there were lightnings in the sky every second!
We were given the room 3077, and everything looked fine. Cosy 2 bedroom apartment. Next day, weather was a bit rainy, so we went for a walk in the main city. At our return, the streets heading Calan Bosch were floaded. When we got to reception, we saw a couple sleeping on the sofas, and we asked why. Seemed like water had entered their apart., and they had to sleep there. This was already midnight.
We went for a drink, come back at 2 am, and there was also a bit of water on ours, but bearable. After 30 min, I hear strong rain on the back door, but no rain at all on the main!!! It looked like a broken pipe.
We went to reception, and they didnt do anything. Long story short:
our room had 3 cm of water, falling from the ceiling everywhere. No one came. We had to call the police ourselves, take at mattresses at 5 am and go to sleep on reception.! We were scare the celing will fall on us.
The manager came at 9.30 next morning!! Unbelievable. And kept saying there was nothing they could have done. A lightning broke a pipe, but they didnt try to book us into any hotel, they didnt give me a solution, they didnt even spoke to me on the phone. They left us to our luck. Was terrible.
Next day, they gave us a new apartment, but they kept saying it was something extraordinary that had happened.
But even the police told us that they had to have a technical service available in case something happened. They didnt.
I really think they are unorganised, and not helpful at all. Go at your own risk.
