Although we had some problems with Orbitz, the stay at Hotel Romantica was calming and peaceful. La Palma is full of nature and beautiful mountains. The food at the hotel was excellent. If you're looking for a place to really get away and relax, Hotel Romantica is the place. It is definitely a "going back to the basics" experience. It is not a place to visit for shopping and nightlife. It's also not the easiest place to travel to. We were blessed to be two of few Americans who visited there.
