the only piece of advise i will give people is go to this place its fabulous but dont expect any help from the receptionist especially if 500euro is stolen from your safety deposit box cause she wont help she will just give u attitude..........lanzarote is a fabulous place and the apartments were more than we expected.......go go go go but keep ur money safe on your body not in the ''safety'' deposit box

We stayed in Lomo Blanco over the Christmas period 2007 and would definitely return. Agree with all of the other reviews below - good location, not great enterainment or food in the hotel but was ok (local restaurants are much better value), staff 100% friendly. The larger pool was pretty cold and the smaller one in the back was warmer - not sure if this was heated. Bar staff was good and got a few beers over the course of the week. Would definitley recommend and return again, hopefully next year. Would recommend getting a taxi to/from the Airport as its a very short run and beat the bus collections and drop-offs which can take over an hour.

so lomo blanco apartments! great location..... the beach is a 2 minute walk away! down "Urine Hill" from lomo blanco to get down to the beach you have to walk down an ally that says "Privado" (Private) and it stinks of urine but on the plus side the beach and the restruants make up for it! loads and loads of great restruants and a brill beach! it hit 35 degrees in november! so that was brilliant. Puerto Del Carmen Is Very Very Good!! back to lomo blanco! on the first night we had to move due to an infection of "Cockroches" and a "Centerpied" !! and a mysterious buzzin noise which just buzzed on into the night we guessed it was a cockroche! so we moved apartments at 1AM on the first night to another more clean apartment although the other apartment did seem clean! anyway the other apartment was cleaner and we couldnt find any cockroches but at about 4AM the buzzing noise was back!! so we moved and were upgraded!! to a different apartment on "Block B" these apartments were more modern, with laminate flooring instead of tiels and a breakfast bar and a very nice balcony! we still heard the buzzing noise every night but just decided to ignore it! we found lots of small cockroches but after speaking to the rep, we were told its very normal to find "Small Cockroches" but not big ones. DONT KILL THEM we were told so we just led them outside. the pool was ok a nice sun spot but no lifeguard not the safeiest place in the world if you have little children! there are two pool a small more mordern one and a older bigger one! there is a nice bar area in which you can eat in or just get drinks its a nice bar and would recommemd! there's breakfast everymorning 6 EUROS all you can eat although its worth trying somewere on the beach or the town center which is just a 2 minute walk. every night there is entertainment on not very good but least there trying! there is a harbour about a 10 minute walk away from lomo blanco but its not very good and very expensive to get on a boat! anyway i would definatley recomened lomo blanco its clean enough and it has interent access and a wash room which are good to have! the beach and restruants part of puerto del carmen are without a doubt one of the best beaches i've ever been to! very impressed with the "FRONT" and the town center! and also there is a televison which you have to pay for be sure to get the adult channel turned off if you have kids! there is a saftey diposit box so its basically got everthing you need. if you get a chance to upgrade DO IT!! PUERTO DEL CARMEN is brilliant. LOMO BLANCO APARTMENTS are OK and respectable i do think they deserve a 3 STAR RATING - BUT THERE'S NO AIR CON and in summer it would be unberrable! BUT you can rent Fans. ANYWAY i would recomend Puerto Del Carmen! BEWARE OF THE AQUA PARK ITS POO, WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY AND YOU WILL FREEZE IN THE POOLS!

Stayed here Nov 07. Nice little complex, family orientated (2 pools, karaoke evenings). Friendly enough staff. Interior of apartments very minimalistic (kettle, toaster, sofa, television, oven and couple of plates). Rooms get cleaned/towels changed every other day. Sadly you have to pay for the TV, around 20euro for the week. Good location, to get to the beach and Puerto del carmen town just down about 100 steps (thats the easy part, coming up is harder, but taxis dirt cheap).
Very close to the old town also, so best of both worlds.
Short taxi drive away from Matagorda, where there is a cracking pub called "the sportsman", owned by An Englishman and Irish Lady, Anthony and Helena. Lovely pub, an Irish and sprts-themed bar, well worth a visit, great hospitality, some lovely restaurants in and around the complex too (ask the taxi driver to take you to Matagorda centre and you will find it easy enough from there). A must-see pub and resort.
