well we had a great stay at the lomo blanco it was clean and the staff were very nice the only down side was there was nothing 4 kids to do even thoe we were told when booking that their was a kids club.we brought a 7 year old with us so he was fed up.the chairs around the pool were all cracked and could of done with replacing i rented a cushion at reception with cost 12 euros so that made a difference.we ate most nites at the old town and found it great espically at the el cangrejo rogo it was fab and the staff couldnt be nicer you can sit outside and you have a beautiful view of the sea while eating your dinner it was lovely and so cheap it was top class.it does get very cold at nite their so be warned.we had a very enjoyable hoilday even thoe it did rain the last 2 days but it was still very warm.

We have just returned after spending a superb 2 weeks at these apartments. Whilst they are not the most plush of accommodation we cannot fault them on their cleanliness and general feel good factor. The reception staff are helpful, the maid service second to none. In all the resort was great and I would have no hesitation in recommending it to any future travellers. Especially if like me you enjoy walking - we did over 90 miles on foot during our 2 weeks
Location wise the accommodation is great 10mins walk at the most from main resort, but out of the way of any noise
cannot speak highly enough. we can't wait to go back

By the way any recent travellers, we did adopt a cat who had 3 kittens when she put in a bush just outside our apartment, needless to say we are cat lovers and fed her daily. I would love to know how she is doing as hated leaving her

the only piece of advise i will give people is go to this place its fabulous but dont expect any help from the receptionist especially if 500euro is stolen from your safety deposit box cause she wont help she will just give u attitude..........lanzarote is a fabulous place and the apartments were more than we expected.......go go go go but keep ur money safe on your body not in the ''safety'' deposit box

We stayed in Lomo Blanco over the Christmas period 2007 and would definitely return. Agree with all of the other reviews below - good location, not great enterainment or food in the hotel but was ok (local restaurants are much better value), staff 100% friendly. The larger pool was pretty cold and the smaller one in the back was warmer - not sure if this was heated. Bar staff was good and got a few beers over the course of the week. Would definitley recommend and return again, hopefully next year. Would recommend getting a taxi to/from the Airport as its a very short run and beat the bus collections and drop-offs which can take over an hour.
