Arrived sunday night and was put in room 210 our first concern was the room stunk of stale cigarette smoke and looked like it needed a good clean it was also above the bar and was quite noisey. So we asked to be moved to another room and was told this would not be possible until the next day, the next day we were told there was no available rooms and to try again the following day and then we were finally moved to room 142, this room did not smell of smoke and was cleaner. The apartments are situated on a main road and quite high up so you do have a hill to climb when returning from the old town, the beach or the centre of town but taxis are cheap, there is a netto over the road and a spar supermarket close by both sell a good range of provisions. Over all we got what we paid for a late deal that was cheap and cheerful and thought that lanzarote was fantastic as was the live music in the irish bars in the old town at night, staff at the apartments were friendly enough with maid service five times a week of changing towels and washing the floors. If you dont like hills then look further along the coast of the resort towards Arrecife as this is totally flat with a wide range of complexes and amenities, lazarote is a great place enjoy.

hi, returned last week from this hotel. firstly lanzarote in general... went on a camel! its a must do!!!!!! 10********** seriously great!
Then the caves [north] of the island. well that was pretty good too unless you are chlostraphobic. The brendan behan bar! its good for karaoke- still goin at 2/3 am!
The volcano ~ parque nacional timanfaya! you have to go there its brilliant. a volcano cooks your food and there is a free bus ride around the volcanos again a must do!
FANTASTIC!! :) In october we had 30- 35 degrees so be warned nice weather never even cold at night!
The apartments: they were fairly basic with small kids beds which was ok if you have small kiddies. The master rooms are spacious and nice too and have comfortable beds. the tv is top up by euros which works well if you want the tv on for 30 mins etc etc. lots to hire even childrens buggies and wheels. bar food is nice and all staff are really friendly. Happy hour the first week so check before ordering!! ended up with double as its buy 1 get 1 free!!!! bring resealable bags for food as ants are about but its not the apartments fault its ...well lanzarote! only small ants anyway :)
Shops locally are okay netto's opposite and spar around the corner- is cheaper!
hmm what else o yes an italian restaurant think its called trusilla dont judge a book by its cover! the food is really nice! recommended!!!! oh yes and to be typical english like us! go to the harbour for a roast there is a carvery its lovely! pork, lamb, chicken/ turkey and everything you can ask for! the boat trips are also good. taxis are cheap! 2 euros 50 to get to the harbour! really worth it after a few beers! i would recommend a car to hire if you are wanting to visit camels etc as its spread out from caves etc and its worth looking around the island- its really not huge although it looks like taxis are for full day hire with a chauffer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
practise spanish it may help but most staff everywhere are great! the gardener at the hotel is spanish and doesnt understand a word of english he was read the 3 little pigs by a 3 yr old! im sure he was impressed.
hope you like you stay!
:)

Just returned from return visit to this Aparthotel and was a little disappointed with the place, following on our visit last year they have now removed the slide from the pool, much to the disappointment of my kids who had a brilliant time with it last year. There is now a jacuzzi where the deeper pool was last year which comes on intermittently. The entertainment was a little bit worse than last year, non-existent some nights. Like an earlier reviewer, we too were placed in an apartment on the side that had a busy road to the back, so were woken most mornings really early while everyone made their way to work, but this usually quietened down by 9am. We found the cleanthiness of the apartment had slightly dis-improved from last year, but we always seemed to be in the apartment when the cleaner came so she sometimes just gave the apartment the once over.
We again headed towards the Old-Town for food most nights with the Bodega and El Tomate getting the thumbs up. Flanaghans in the Old Town was definitely the place to be for a good old fashioned drag act which had us all in stitches, with their crappyoake to finish the night, highly recommended.
We went on a North Tour with Last Minute Travel which I would recommend, but if you have your driving licence with you hire a car and seek some local information as it cost us €160 for three adults and two children, lunch was included, but not recommended for people with basic food tastes.

“nightmare”

everyone said we would love lanzarote so i was very excited about going. my whole family all booked together and it was our first holiday all together. it was actually my parents first holiday abroad and what a nightmare it turned out to be. the apartments were basic and jus about what i would describe as clean.they were situated between 2 roads and on a main road so we were awake at 6 every morning.it was like sleeping on the m50. we had 5 apartments in all and we were all located on this side of the block so we all woke very early. i needed a holiday when i got home because i was exhausted.we were away from the main strip and had to tolerate a hill every night to get home.not very easy with a baby buggy.i would not recomend these apartments but would recomend lanzarote for the food.it was fabulous.

Tho holiday was good. We stayed a week it was cleaned 5 times in the week. The bar food wasnt great, and neither was the music. The pool was cleaned every day early in the morning. My daughter (12) made friends. The entertainment was VERY POOR at the complex.Daytimes adult and teens games none existent.Id advise you to go to the Bodega san jose by the harbour recommended 100% for a very good feed.Recommend 100% Flanagans bar for a great laugh nightly drag artist.El tomatoe rest excellent for pizza and pasta. But service is poor.Id advice the bungee jump by the shopping centre for all ages 5euro.Taxis 2.50c.Mulligans for Irish music for parents.
overall really enjoyed it.
