Stayed in Lanzarote last week in apartments across the road from the Playa Club and used the spa facilities for a manicure on one of the nights. I went witih my daughter we paid 20 euro each for what can only be described as the biggest farce of a pedicure.

The manacurist if she really was one sawed my nails all unevenly and as for the french polish at the end disastorous


If you don t believe me go and see for yourself....it was a jok

Spent 7 days from Christmas through to the New Year at the Playa Club.

The apartments were clean, but looked dated. Facilities were adequate. Large trees reduce the number of sun drenched beds available by the pool which leads to a very crowded area for so many apartments. If you like sitting by the pool all holiday, then this location will be a bit claustrophobic. They need to cut back a lot of the trees to make use of the areas available to them

Really close to main avenue, and a great location for access without being too noisy.

Restaurant linked to the club was nice, and offered easy non-complicated food.

Staff were helpful and polite

Me (19) and my boyfriend (24) stayed at the Playa Club last january and found it to be a really nice hotel considering how cheap the holiday was.

The room was big with a separate kitchen/lounge, bedroom and bathroom. We were on the ground floor and had a good view of the pool. It was also very clean with new towels nearly every day if needed.
The hotel was in easy walking distance of the main strip of puerto del carmen which was great after you've had a few drinks!

Unfortunately i can't comment on the food as we didn't eat there apart from some snacks now and again which were fine. The restaurant did seem fairly full every night though!
The pool was fine, not as big as i would have liked for a hotel with so many rooms. Luckily we were out at the beach or doing excursions most of the time or i feel it could have got crowded around the pool area.

Overall - a good, clean hotel that i wouldn't hesitate to recommend for someone looking for a quick cheap getaway!

My fiance and I stayed at playa club for a week at the end of october. The reception staff were very friendly and the room we stayed in (137) was lovely. It was cleaned nearly everyday and the cleaners were very friendly too! We had the gardens to sunbathe in just outside our room and as i'm pregnant this was very handy if I needed to go back to the room and very quiet as the pool area could be noisy although the pool was freezing so steer clear of the pool at this time of year!.The location of this hotel is great it's very close to the main road with restaurants/bars/shops but amazingly it's very quiet we never heard a sound .I would recommend this hotel for a cheap getaway as it's very pleasant , We would definately go back .
