We arrived in Spain and my wife promptly had her bag stolen including credit cards phone etc and my sons medicine.Watch out at the ferry port there are some scallies about!!
Upshot is our first 5 hours in Spain was spent in Police stations and Hospitals trying to get things sorted.We had not booked a hotel prior to arriving so I just picked one at random and we ended up at the Don Carlos Apartments - not to be confused with the Hotel Don Carlos just down the road.The three bed roomed apartment in the attic was fine for a family of four, a little basic but did the job apart from the beds which need upgrading and the pillows which need throwing out!

Where this place really excelled was the staff and owners who on hearing of our plight pulled out all stops to get hospital appointments for our son (who needed a new prescription for antibiotics and to get another appointment with a doctor to change the dressing on his wound) and to help us cancel credit cards phones etc. they were excellent.Great customer service.And this place is a few metres from a superb beach , close to the casino and restaurants and on the bus route into town.
Get those beds sorted out and we would go again
