We booked a table on our short family city break to this fabulous city, having read many of your reviews on TA. The restaurant is easy to find near Tetuan metro station, and is really just a tiny place with about 5 tables, 2 of which were pushed together for us. Our waiter greeted us very pleasantly and in excellent English. We went for the 10 course degustatione menu which was a new experience for my kids. The waiter and chef happily substituted 1 of the main ingredients in one of the dishes without fuss. We had an involved and helpful discussion about the red wines, producing a well priced and delicious wine from priorat along with a lovely Xarel Lo for the white that was perfect with the food. Service was brisk and professional, with some knockout dishes on the way. 5 out of 10 dishes were excellent, 3 very good, 1 ok and 1 missed completely (the cheese dessert was just too out there...). The chef, who trained at the El Bulli school, came out to talk after the meal genuinely interested in knowing what we thought, best and worst dishes. The bill including wine was pricey-ish (not really for London) but worth it, and everyone including our 11 yr old, really thought it was a great experience. I would recommend this restaurant any time.
