I had the traveling day from hell. My first flight was delayed, which in turn made me run across the airport for my connecting flight with only 5 minutes to spare. I made it to my flight, however, when I landed, my baggage didn't. When I arrived to Barcelona, no buses had any stops near my hotel so I walked a mile and a half to the Tryp Barcelona in the heat with my heavy duffel bag. I finally arrived at the hotel, only to find that I screwed up my reservations and had no room booked for the night. I was in tears!!!! Ryan Ford, was the attendant that helped me that day. He went above and beyond to get me a great room with a great view of the city at a very reasonable price. He even went out of his way to find me a box of tissues. The hotel is only a couple blocks from La Rambla. The hotel was in the downtown district, so it was a little noisy, but growing up in the city, I was use to it. The room was very spacious and clean. The service was excellent!!!
