Location: Great location in the center of the city, one block from Passaig de la Gracia.

Staff: Friendly staff, pleased to serve you. Shaving kits, extra towels, anything else you need will be in your room immediately. Very clean and thorough room cleaning.

Breakfast: Very decent breakfast with great expresso. Great service.

Beds: Terrible beds - most (if not all) rooms have two double beds that slide apart on hardwood floor. To be close to my wife, I had to tie the beds together with towels. Very hard mattr essess. Only sheets for cover - no blankets. Pillows synthetic and hard.

Booked this Hotel after reading reviews on Trip Advisor. We stayed for a night pre-cruise, and arrived about midday. Our room was ready and we were allowed into it right away.
We managed to get a deal through Expedia which included buffet breakfast. Only disappointment was they served diluted orange juice and not the real stuff at breakfast. A Hotel of this class should be able to do better.
The room was excellent, situated at the side of the hotel (No view whatsoever), but was very clean, modern, and quiet. The staff were excellent and very friendly.
No qualms about staying here again.

My wife and I stayed at the Atrium Palace for four nights in early May. As written, the location is indeed excellent for shopping, dining, acess to tours and walking to the Gothic quarter. When taking a cab back to the hotel, use the nearest intersection(Grand Via & passeg de Gracia), as some do not know of the hotel as it is small. Rooms ver clean and well appointed. Air conditioning works quite well. We did not try the restaurant, but the bar service was excellent. We were on the front, with the door closed, most street noise was eliminated. Staff very accomodating. Would definitely stay there again.

This is an excellent hotel offering real value for money. The location is perfect - probably the best in Barcelona. Everything is within walking distance. The staff are very friendly and accomodating. There is a lovely pool and Spa area. Yes it is small but it always seems to be empty. The pool was lovely and warm and perfect for relaxing after a hard days sightseeing. My only criticism would be that the restaurant area is unimpressive to look at although I didnt use the facility so I cant comment on the quality of the food or service. Rooms wre very nice, clean, cable TV and quite large. They can be a bit noisey with a school playground right behind the hotel. Overall, this hotel is a gem and I would definitely be staying there again.
